Officer Precious Cornner-Jones is a 40-year-old mother-of-three and a member of the Indiana State Police. While attending a “high-five” rally at Indianapolis Public School 88, she observed a younger boy with a really upset look on his face. As if in utter defeat, the child simply crumbled to the bottom, mendacity down on his tummy, head resting on his arms.

Her motherly instincts took over, and he or she knew simply the appropriate factor to do. As she walked over to the place the boy lay, his mom advised the officer that her son had been “expressing himself that way lately”.

“I decided to get on his level and talk to him. He started to cry so I wiped his tears and told him it will be OK,” Cornner-Jones wrote on Facebook.

She advised ABC News that the teen felt a lot better after a couple of minutes of heart-to-heart chatting, after which he stood up smiling.

“It wasn’t a cop moment, it was a mother moment,” she mentioned.

The officer’s Facebook submit has been seen and shared lots of of instances since she posted it.

“I LOVE this … And how I thought about it several times today. This is very beautiful,” Facebook person Rachel Strange wrote.

“U R [sic] AWESOME! Thank GOD to your perception and bravado,” wrote Dianna Ray.

“Precious you might be wonderful. Who is aware of what this little fella has happening. If extra ppl [sic] would suppose to do one thing like this as a substitute of judging, turning their heads to disregard, or admonishing a baby for being overwhelmed our world can be a greater place,” Renee Smith added.
