Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West have begun making plans for baby number three, and those plans will reportedly include a surrogate.
According to TMZ, the couple has recruited an agency to assist them in the process, reportedly due to Kim being previously diagnosed with placenta accreta — a pregnancy condition that could potentially threaten her life.
TMZ says the deal is done now and has uncovered the details of the contract.
The Wests will reportedly pay a total of $45,000 across 10 monthly installments of $4,500. Additional costs include $5,000 for each additional baby should the surrogate give birth to more than one. If the surrogate loses any reproductive organs, she’ll get an additional $4,000.
The couple will “assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child … that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects.”
They’re also reportedly required to pay the agency a deposit of $68,850.
The Wests currently have two children, one-year-old Saint West and four-year-old North West.
