Every toddler loves squishing playdough, however have you ever ever tried making it with them? I did this immediately and I feel it was probably the most enjoyable my two-year-old has had since discovering the tissue field.
This recipe is so easy I ponder why I’ve solely ever paid for the ready-made stuff. The combination doesn’t want cooking or boiling water added, which is nice as scorching playdough can scold little palms (in case he will get his keen mitts on it earlier than it’s cooled). This is a completely secure one to your toddler to make and as I’ve found, the one factor higher than playdough to a toddler is making it.
Take this exercise outdoors as toddler-made playdough needs to be the definition of messy enjoyable!
Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
1 cup salt
1 cup chilly water
1 tbs oil
Liquid meals colouring
Method
In a big bowl, add the flour and salt. Stir.
Add the water, oil, drops of meals colouring (add as many dops as you prefer to get the specified hue).
Knead the combination till it has a playdough consistency (chances are you’ll want to do that bit to make sure it’s well-kneaded). Tip, if consistency is just too moist, add slightly extra plain flour.
Have enjoyable making totally different colored batches.
