“I’m a 30-year-old divorcee with a son. I’ve joint custody with my ex-husband. My boyfriend, who can be divorced, has a daughter who’s underneath the only custody of his ex-wife,” the girl explains.
“My boyfriend already proposed to me, however, one month after proposing, he needs me to surrender seeing my son.”
But as an alternative of fuming, getting upset concerning the request, or just telling him to bugger off, the mum appears to noticeably be contemplating the request, admitting she had considered giving up her son when she remarried.
“But how am I alleged to reply to my mother and father? My mom has despair and my father has most cancers. I don’t need them to be unhappy figuring out that they are going to lose a grandson,” she says, explaining she’s been given a couple of weeks to consider it.
“My boyfriend told me when we started dating that he could not accept my son, and I know not all men can. I want to be with my boyfriend and yet I can’t bear to let my parents feel sad because of their illnesses. I also have a mother’s guilt in me because my son loves me so much. What should I do?”
Well, Wendy didn’t maintain again in her response telling the mum she must “get help”.

She additionally couldn’t imagine the mum would use her mother and father’ sicknesses as the rationale to ‘maybe’ maintain seeing her personal son.
“Please, please get yourself to therapy and figure out what … is wrong with you that you would behave in such an appalling, disgraceful way. Get help.”
