In case you’ve ever grappled with dropping child weight, leaving your little one at daycare or, um, “misplacing” the child, illustrator and mom of two Line Severinsen can relate–which is why she began making hysterical cartoons of her real-life motherhood issues.
“I believed to myself that there is no such thing as a method that no different folks felt and seemed like I did,” she wrote. “So I needed to create a counterpoint to assist folks like me to know that they weren’t alone and that it’s OK to really feel and act lower than excellent typically.”
And, as you’ll see, these illustrations are spot-on, kicking it off with a mother who by accident drops her telephone on the child:
