Mom leaves child together with her ex for a day. Then one telephone name crashes her complete world

Five years in the past, this child lady was shaken so severely by her father that the docs thought she wouldn’t stay by the night time. Yet, this robust child miraculously survived. Years later, her mom shared her story to tell others—“Never shake a baby.”

Cheyenne Rae, 5, is an lovely lady who will get enthusiastic about going to highschool.

Five years again, it was a distinct story.

The poor lady suffered extreme mind injury after being shaken by her father when she was simply Eight months outdated.

On that fateful day of Aug. 17, 2012, Owensby dropped off the then Eight-month-old Cheyenne to be with her father, James Davis Jr., for a routine weekend go to. Owensby and Davis have been separated.

An hour and a half later, Owensby acquired a name from Davis—Cheyenne wasn’t respiration.

What led to the newborn lady’s important situation was Davis shaking his daughter in a second of anger to cease Cheyenne from crying.

“All that came crashing down. … I snapped. There’s no reason for it. I don’t know why I did it,” mentioned Davis, in line with a web-based report from SHJ.com.

Cheyenne was later airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

“I will never get the image of her lifeless body being placed in that helicopter out of my head,” Owensby recalled.
