Adam Brody and Leighton Meester Chose a Very “Good” Name for Their Baby

Gossip Girl and O.C. fans rejoice! Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen have a daughter!

PEOPLE magazine has reported that Adam Brody, 35, and Leighton Meester, 29, welcomed a baby girl, named Arlo Day Brody, at 12:12 AM on Sunday, August 4th. The couple, who prefer to keep their personal lives private, have yet to actually confirm the birth, but that doesn’t mean we’re not excited for them!

We’re left to wonder if their baby girl’s name was inspired by the lead character of Disney Pixar’s upcoming film The Good Dinosaur — you never know, right? More importantly, will Arlo be the Queen Bee of the playground, dazzling fellow babies with the cutest fashions and expensive pacifiers, or will she become the first toddler to write and illustrate her own graphic novel?

Only time will tell, but there’s one thing we know for sure — Arlo will never be short in the friend department.

Aside from an inevitable friendship with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds‘ daughter, James, Brody’s O.C. co-star Ben McKenzie and girlfriend Morena Baccarin announced they are expecting their first child together.

Kid birthday parties are about to seem a lot more appealing.
