Teen Marine Recruit Dies at Camp Pendleton After Collapsing Throughout Coaching

Pfc. Javier Pong, an 18-year-old Marine recruit, died final month after he collapsed throughout coaching at Camp Pendleton. He grew to become unresponsive and unconscious whereas conducting scheduled coaching on the base on September 27.
