During a court docket listening to in July 2017, Chief Judge Frank Caprio of Caught in Providence fame obtained greater than he bargained for when a person was charged with a dashing violation.

At the time, the person had solely been driving within the United States for 3 years. But in his native residence of Africa, his driving document was squeaky-clean.

Just as Judge Caprio ready to make his ruling, he observed the person’s household sitting at the back of the courtroom. His spouse, new child child, and toddler son have been all with him that day.

Judge Caprio, who loves speaking to little children, keyed in on their oldest son. “Bring him up here. I want to ask him a question.”

Known for his compassion and kindness, Judge Caprio determined to let the person’s younger son assist determine his father’s destiny.

“You’re gonna say guilty or not guilty,” he informed the boy.

But Mom and Dad didn’t count on their son’s overly sincere reply, which despatched your entire courtroom erupting into laughter — in the end successful over Judge Caprio.
