Jim Gaffigan is an American comic and father of 5. In late April, he realized that his lovely spouse, Jeannie, had a mind tumor the scale of an apple hooked up to her brainstem.
Jeannie underwent a 9 hour surgical procedure to take away the tumor. The process was profitable, however left her throat paralyzed for weeks. She was unable to eat or drink with no feeding tube. Slowly, she regained the power to swallow and now can eat something, so long as it’s pureed.
