Mom Crush Monday: Britney Spears
The Queen of Pop is certainly worthy of our Mom Crush Monday. From putting out hits like “Hit Me Baby, One More Time” and “Toxic,” to creating successful perfume lines and debuting her own show in Las Vegas, Britney Spears is a force to be reckoned with. However, we’re pretty sure if you asked her what her greatest achievement is, she would say raising her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden.
Spears, who was raised in Louisiana, has had an extremely successful career thus far. She’s had her fair share of ups and downs, as well as heartbreaks, but she’s always come out on top. If there’s anyone we want in our mom-corner, it’s Britney Spears.

Spears told The Daily Mail,
“I’m worried all the time, and always thinking about what we should be doing and should not be doing.”

“But when I’m onstage, it’s like my therapy time. I get to be this person that I’m really not. It’s a way to get out of my own head and have some fun.”

“Homework is a priority. We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month.”

“For me, success is a state of mind. I feel like success isn’t about conquering something, it’s being happy with who you are.”

“I kind of keep them in their world – their kid world, away from the limelight. I feel that’s a different side of me. ’Cos, you know, it’s a lot to deal with. For a lot of people. Especially if you’re shy, like my boys, it can be overwhelming.”

“My mom is a wonderful woman. She’s always been an inspiration to me, but having kids helped me make even more sense of my relationship with her.”
