Mom Loses It When Son Surprises Her With New Car On Her 60th Birthday.

It’s been a difficult year, and Nuris Urena has been through more than most people. She lost several family members to COVID-19, and she wasn’t able to travel to the Dominican Republic to be by their side. As a special needs teacher, she has also been losing sleep worrying about her students as they struggle to stay on top of their remote learning. But the worst blow came when her husband of 43 years passed away after a long illness.

With all that loss and grief, her son Jorge was determined to do something special for her. While he was with her for his father’s funeral, Nuris mentioned how much she would love to own a new car after only ever purchasing used ones. So without telling her, Jorge and his siblings arranged to buy a brand new Volkswagen sedan for her 60th birthday!

In a video, Jorge presents Nuris with her gift, and her reaction is unbelievably sweet! She can’t stop crying and admiring her sleek new ride, and Jorge seems to be enjoying the act of giving just as much as his mother loves receiving.
