Mom Crush Monday: Alyssa Milano
Alyssa Milano is basically the superhero we’d all like to be. She’s a wife, mother, actress, author, fashion designer, and a major advocate for normalizing breastfeeding. Is there anything she can’t do? We think not.
She’s come a long way since her days on Charmed, now splitting her time between her career and parenthood. Milano has been married to David Bugliari, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, since August 2009, and the couple have two adorable children, Milo Thomas, 4, and Elizabella Dylan, 1.
Milano has always had beautiful things to say about parenting, like when she reflected on her daughter’s first birthday saying, “You’ve taught me that my heart has no end. You were the missing piece to my soul. Thank you for choosing me.” Just the sweetest.
For this week’s Mom Crush Monday, we rounded up Milano’s take on parenting, superheroes, post-baby bods, and more.
On who her dream dinner dates would be …
4 people you'd want to have dinner with? Dead or alive. Mine? Jesus, Roberto Clemente, john lennon, Elon Musk.

On the reality of post-baby bodies …
On her firstborn, Milo …
Four years ago, Milo was born and all the heartache & pain of my past finally made sense. I love you, son. I'll teach you all that I have.

On her daughter, Elizabella …
On how to spend the weekend …
I love being horizontal.

On which superhero she’d be …
On mom guilt …
There are very few days I can say this & believe it but…I think I did ok today. The balance between motherhood & work. Nothing suffered.

On spending time with Milo …
On Elizabella growing up …
I think Elizabella is starting to self wean. It's killing me.
On being shamed as a parent …
Milano told Yahoo Parenting, “Milo used a pacifier until he was 3 and people would say, ‘How old is he? How cute…’ It’s mom bashing and dads don’t get it as much. Because parenting is so personal, people sometimes can’t really see outside their own perspective.”
On how she spends date night …
